Kimberly Jonas.com

Part of a slew of web launches this week, KimberlyJonas.com is finally unveiled! Kimberly Jonas is an entrepreneur, yoga instructor, and writer who focuses on personal growth.

Kimberly Jonas.com was developed to market Kimberly’s unique style, expertise and focus on personal growth. Working with an existing unique Illustrator design from Kimberly’s designer, a custom theme for the WordPress platform was developed to enable her to have a large amount of control over her content while simultaneously getting the exact branded look and feel she desired.

Year End Booking

Friday, November 6th, 2009

Whew! Things have really picked up here over the last few weeks. It seems like quarter 3 ran a bit slow for everyone this year, but now as year end approaches, the frantic fury of new work is spilling in. I’ve started several new business initiatives and company collaborations with lots of great local folks and businesses- one with my father that I think is really going to blow everyone’s socks off.

So far to the end of the year, I’ve booked: 5-6 website designs and layouts, 2-3 branding projects, 2-3 Flash-specific items and maybe a media player or two.  Yay, busy!

That being said if you’re looking to start a web initiative, book it soon! Contact me today for great home-spun company branding, affordable and easy to update websites, animated Flash pieces or any of my other services!

Plum Creek Church

Plum Creek Church

Whew- this week I’ve completed a whole bundle of work with my associates at Mindflint Media. Specialists in non-profits and churches, Mindflint and I have been developing a number of cleanly designed data driven websites this year and the latest group of three is no exception!

This month we’ve completed work on two non-profit ministries: Blessman Ministries.org and Journey117.org (who are still working on integrating our theme into their software) and one church: Plum Creek Community Church of Castle Rock. Plum Creek also features some great work on a Flash animated children’s site by my friend Douglas Koke.

While not a religious person myself, I have much respect for all three organizations’ progressive take on tolerance, understanding and giving and for their great taste in web design!

Well done all.

Dark Music Theme

Dark Music Theme

My buddy Doug Koke and I joined forces in late July to come up with series of web designs for the purpose of fitting them to existing content-management driven websites for an associate I met online. I must say, we rock some socks in the design department. I was surprised that after years of doing pure development work, I still have some chops.

Each of us picked from a set of 12 possible layouts (6 each) with a wide range of styles: Dark Music (featured left), Sports, News Portals and Design Portfolios to name a few. It sure is nice to be able to come up with ideas and not have to actually implement them sometimes! Its a different workflow to just keep cranking out concepts and not have to break the cycle to write lines and lines of code.

Check out the full series here in its full-sized glory or via my portfolio at www.vectordefector.com!
